Episode 95 of the Puyanama podcast is out, and this time I’m digging into one of the most controversial people in Disney history: Clyde “Gerry” Geronimi.
Geronimi was the son of an Italian butcher, and he had to quit school at twelve. He started out erasing pencil lines and went on to become one of Disney’s key directors.
His coworkers could barely stand him, yet he was behind some of Disney’s most unforgettable moments, from the glass slipper in Cinderella to the famous spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp.

سلام رفقا!
اپیزود ۹۵ پادکست پویانما منتشر شد و این بار رفتم سراغ یکی از جنجالی‌ترین آدم‌های تاریخ دیزنی: کلاید «جری» جرونیمی.
جرونیمی پسر یه قصاب ایتالیایی بود که دوازده‌سالگی مجبور شد مدرسه رو ول کنه. کارش رو با پاک کردن خط‌های مدادی شروع کرد و بعدها به یکی از کارگردان‌های کلیدی دیزنی تبدیل شد.
همکاراش زیاد تحملش نمی‌کردن، ولی همین آدم پشت بعضی از ماندگارترین صحنه‌های دیزنی بود؛ از کفش بلورین «سیندرلا» تا اسپاگتی معروف «بانو و ولگرد».
این اپیزود قسمت اول از یه سری سه قسمتی هست و دنبال جواب این سؤال‌هاست:
چطور یه پسر دوازده‌ساله از روستایی توی آلپ سر از استودیوی دیزنی درآورد؟
چرا همکاراش ازش با عنوان «یکی از منفورترین آدم‌های اون دور و بر» یاد می‌کردن؟
اگه انیماتورها اون‌قدر ازش دلخور بودن، چرا والت دیزنی هیچ‌وقت کنارش نذاشت؟
